League of Legends organizer LCO has banned PEACE from participating in the Australian regional championship due to multiple rules violations.
PEACE management was unable to bring players to Australia, where the tournament was held. The roster participants struggled with visa issues, resulting in them missing almost every match at the event.
They also violated their contractual obligations by not paying salaries to players and other staff, despite the cooperation of the LCO organizers.
Following their removal from the franchise, it was decided to sell the PEACE machines, the proceeds of which will be paid to the club's players and staff as compensation. LCO will also assist esports players to relocate if they do not wish to remain in Australia.
League of Legends Circuit Oceania is a regional league in Australia that falls under the PCO region. It is organised by ESL Australia and Guinevere Capital and is not directly hosted by Riot Games.
In the past, Riot Games has refused to pay hackers for the League of Legends source code.
