Riot Games has announced that it is ending its partnership with publisher Garena after 12 years of collaboration on the release of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics in the Southeast Asian region.
After a 12-year partnership with Garena, Riot Games will begin self-publishing League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics in Southeast Asia in January 2023. Ever since Riot first released League in 2009, the game has become a favorite for players in Southeast Asia.
The company already independently publishes VALORANT, Legends of Runeterra, and League of Legends: Wild Rift in the region, and it was only a matter of time before League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics joined.
By the way, players will need to transfer their accounts from Garena to Riot. After switching from their account, gamers will receive a set of in-game rewards as a gift. Read about all the details here .
