EHOME left Dota 2

EHOME left Dota 2

Founded in 2004, the Chinese esports club  China EHOME has released an official statement announcing its retirement from the Dota 2 discipline. Today, Valve & Perfect World banned the players of the EHOME Dota 2 roster , and the team itself was suspended from participation in the regional league Dota Pro Circuit 2023.

In 2020, EHOME faced challenges in its operations. The company signed a trilateral cooperation agreement with LGD esports club and Blade Technology, where the partners acted as agents for managing the EHOME Dota branch.

After TI11 in 2022, due to the epidemic and other related reasons, the club's activities continued to decline, which led to the termination of the trilateral cooperation. After the EHOME club failed to find a new suitable partner, they decided to leave Dota.

Perfect World today announced that five of EHOME's players this season have received one-year to life bans, and EHOME has also been kicked out of the Chinese DPC League.

We are very sorry that the famous club that once brought honor to Chinese Dota ended up like this, and we also blame ourselves for not being able to compete more actively for a DPC slot. However, we fully respect and accept Perfect World and Valve's decision to punish.

A huge thank you to those fans who have always supported EHOME for a long time, whether the team was at its peak or not. From today we are leaving the Dota 2 discipline. We hope that the Dota 2 competitive scene will get better and better and Chinese Dota will win The International again!

EHOME opened a Dota 2 division in 2010. Since then, the club's squads have earned more than four million dollars in prize money in the discipline.
