Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 promised the fast-paced action that characterizes the battle royale genre, with new cyberpunk-inspired content and the opening of new MEGA cities.
And now it's promised another major collaboration, with two legendary heroes from Resident Evil coming to Fortnite.
A leak from famed data miner HYPEX hints at the upcoming appearance of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Their skin designs will be familiar to Resident Evil players of all skill levels, as their military-style pants and overalls fit perfectly with Epic's cartoonish aesthetic.
This coincides with the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake, which Capcom plans to release on March 24, 2023. Usually, crossovers like this appear in Fortnite at the most opportune time, such as when a new game, TV series or movie is released.
At the moment, it's uncertain when these two skins will appear in Fortnite and how much they will cost. Typically, such skins cost around 1500 V-Bucks each or 3000 V-Bucks for the entire set, but this will of course be confirmed closer to release.
The most likely release date is close to the release date of the Resident Evil 4 remake.
